Grandpa Johnson is DEAD

Grandpa Johnson IS DEAD was a choose-your-own-adventure menu of micro-performances on American desire, death, nostalgia, and indulgence in Hollywood, in HOLLYWOOD. Staged at Grandpa Johnson’s Cocktail Club, the show allowed audiences to “order” scenes as they please. This collective mode of storytelling explored everything from LA’s Bukowski-fetish and networking pro-tips to American ritualism and the earthquake that will change life as we know it.

Co-Directed by Scarlett Kim
Devised and performed by William Lawrence, Scott Monahan, Rachel Rivera, and
Jenapher Zheng
