Why I Want to Fuck Ronald Reagan

LA, 2017

A Ceaseless Fun Production

Inspired by JG Ballard’s “The Atrocity Exhibition”, Why I Want To Fuck Ronald Reagan was an immersive, interactive work of literary collage about the psychosexual appeal of conservatism. The production imagined Reagan’s California circa 1969 as one part surrealist bachelor pad, one part interstate highway, and one part psych ward, as each character blazed their own path through a dystopic past.

Performed and Devised by: Rachel Rivera, Dakota Loesch, Emily Yetter, Scott Monahan, Allegra Masters

Stage Managed by: Meredith Treinen
